No matter our race, zip code, or how much money we make, every Hoosier deserves the freedom to get care without going broke.
We should be able to see a doctor, fill a prescription, and care for our loved ones with dignity and peace of mind.
But certain politicians, like State Senator Gary Byrne and Governor Mike Braun, have abandoned the fight for that freedom.
Their bill, SB2, piles on red tape that blocks seniors, children, people with disabilities, and working families from Medicaid and Medicare. It’s a deliberate choice that will further strangle rural hospitals, reduce access to lifesaving care, and force families to choose between groceries and medicine. Harrison County Hospital and Ascension St. Vincent in Salem have already been struggling and these new cuts threaten to push them over the edge.
That’s not leadership. It’s cruelty by bureaucracy, and Hoosiers deserve better.

Governor Braun and Senator Gary Byrne voted to cut early education and childcare while spending taxpayer money on luxury perks- a helipad at his personal mansion for the Governor, new $90,000 cars for the Lt. Governor Beckwith and Secretary of State Morales, and huge pay raises for all of them.
Their SB1 slashed funding for Pre-K, denying 3,500 kids a headstart in life, while also stripping millions from schools across District 47. Then they gutted the Child Care and Development Fund, hurting over 50,000 children and families who depend on affordable care and closing day cares all across our state.
That’s not fiscal responsibility- that’s neglect.

Every one of us deserves the freedom to have a safe, affordable place to call home- the foundation for stable families, strong schools, and thriving towns.
But across Indiana, that freedom is slipping away. Rent and home prices have skyrocketed, wages haven’t kept up, and corporate investors are buying up single-family homes to profit off our struggle. A quarter million Hoosiers are making less than $32,000 a year, and there are only 38 affordable units for every 100 of those families in desperate need.
Governor Braun and his allies have let housing costs spiral while giving tax breaks to the wealthy few. Families in Southern Indiana are working two jobs and still can’t afford a place to live in the communities where they grew up. That’s not the American Dream- that’s what happens when a political party with a monopoly on power stops caring about the things that matter most.

For too long, a good home has been treated like a luxury for the lucky, instead of the foundation of a community. Together we’ll make sure every Hoosier has a place to belong and build a future.
No matter where we live or what we look like, we all deserve the freedom to earn a good living, support our families, and plan for tomorrow. But too many Hoosiers are working longer hours for less, while a wealthy few rig the rules to enrich themselves.
Multimillionaire Governor Braun immediately got a 65% pay raise, only to turn around and tell local governments to “do more with less.” Fitting, especially since Hoosiers haven’t seen a minimum-wage increase since 2009. Meanwhile, nearly half of Indiana’s college graduates leave within five years because they can’t find good jobs here.
We deserve leaders who will rebuild an economy that works for all of us, not just elites and political insiders.

Every Hoosier deserves the freedom to make personal medical decisions without government interference.
For more than two decades, Indiana’s Republican leadership has built a system designed to shame, delay, and deny access to reproductive healthcare.
The result?
A mass exodus of OB-GYNs. Maternity wards closing across rural counties. Women forced to leave the state for lifesaving care, or worse, denied treatment until they are near death. Ectopic pregnancies that resulted in hysterectomies instead of life-saving abortions.
These laws don’t make anyone safer. They make people desperate.
They don’t reduce abortions- they just make them more dangerous.
And they fall hardest on low-income women, rural families, and survivors of sexual violence, who now face impossible barriers to care.
This isn’t about protecting life.
It’s about control- over women, over doctors, over families.
It’s about politicians telling women that their futures, their health, and their choices aren’t their own. And after millenia of powerful men dictating to women how and when they will have children, Hoosiers are saying enough.
Women should be trusted to make their own medical decisions. Doctors should be free to provide the best care without fear of prosecution. And no one should have to flee their home state for basic healthcare.

Every Hoosier deserves to live with dignity, safety, and equality, no matter who they are or whom they love.
Across our state, a handful of politicians have tried to divide us with fear, attacking transgender kids, restricting books, and pushing laws that target families just trying to live their lives. They hope that if we’re busy fighting each other, we won’t notice them handing more power to corporate donors and stripping freedoms from all of us.
But most Hoosiers know better.
We believe in the Golden Rule- treating others as we would want to be treated.
We believe in community, fairness, and the freedom to live openly and authentically.
That’s what equality means: the freedom to build a life, a home, and a family: no exceptions.
